Aspiring Software Developer
I'm a Computer Science student at the University of Michigan with a passion for building innovative software solutions. Experienced in web development, and algorithm design.
Hi, I’m Srijon Deb, a Computer Science student at the University of Michigan. I’m passionate about designing and building software that can make an impact in the world.
Last summer, I interned at a startup in Lisbon where I improved a 3D editing tool and cut processing times by more than half. I’ve also done research in computer vision, creating algorithms that made X-ray images clearer and faster to analyze. I’m always looking to learn new technologies and tackle challenging problems. I really value teamwork and communication, and I love being in environments where I can grow while contributing my own ideas.
In my free time, you can find me at the gym, binge-watching TV shows, or planning my next travel adventure.

Currently developing MaizeMart with a team, a student-only marketplace app that allows University of Michigan users to safely buy and sell items through a verified campus network.
Built a data pipeline that integrates the Spotify, Last.fm, and iTunes APIs to collect, organize, and analyze music data, enabling insights into trends such as artist popularity and listening behavior.
Created a C++ program that simulates battles across different planets, tracking events in real time and generating useful stats to understand how the battles play out.
Developed a program that finds the fastest path through complex maze environments using optimized search algorithms, making it efficient even for large and multi-level maps.
Developed this portfolio website to showcase my projects, skills, and experience.
I’d love to connect! Whether you have a project in mind, want to collaborate, or just want to say hi, feel free to reach out.
